Jiri Prochazka Issues Warning to UFC 313 Headliners: 'I'm Coming'

Whether it be Alex Pereira or Magomed Ankalaev, Jiri Prochazka is coming for the light heavyweight title.

In just a few short hours, ‘Poatan’ will return to the Octagon for a highly anticipated clash with Ankalaev in the UFC 313 headliner. It will undoubtedly be Pereira’s toughest test yet, but if he manages to make it out of ‘Sin City’ with his gold intact, he’ll likely have a familiar foe waiting for him on the other side.

“Fight day is here for us here in the Czech Republic, it’s tomorrow morning,” Prochazka said in an Instagram video. “So I wish you a great fight, both of you guys. And don’t forget! I’m coming. Let’s go for that!”

Jiri Prochazka is still holding strong as the No. 2 ranked contender at 205

Prochazka has already stepped inside the Octagon with Pereira twice. Both times, ‘BJP’ went down in the second round, preventing him from retaking the light heavyweight belt he was forced to give up due to injury in 2022.

After blasting through Jamahal Hill at UFC 311 in January, Prochazka is still holding strong as the No. 2 ranked contender in the division and could be on the cusp of a third meeting with Pereira, assuming ‘Poatan’ successfully fends off the wrestle-heavy attack of his next title challenger.

Anakalaev goes into his clash with Pereira riding a 13-fight unbeaten streak and is, in the eyes of many, the favorite to come out on top. But regardless of who sees their hand raised, there winner faces one undeniable fact; Prochazka is coming for them.
