There’s a dangerous new addition to the flyweight division after Dong Hoon Choi scored a vicious knockout of Kiru Sahota to win the “Road to UFC” flyweight tournament at UFC Fight Night 248.
Choi (9-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) wasted little time adding to his undefeated record when he found home for his punches on Sahota (12-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) early in the opening round at Galaxy Arena in Macau. A tight combination ended by a huge right hand led to the knockout at the 2:36 mark of Round 1.

Choi was thrilled with his performance in the aftermath of the finish. He did some breakdancing in the octagon, celebrated to the crowd, then spoke of what the result meant to him.
“I’ve won this tournament, but I just can’t help to wonder, am I dreaming? I can’t put into words what I’m feeling right now,” Choi said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “This is great.”
