Liz Carmouche ran through Ilara Joanne at the PFL World Tournament on Friday night, finishing the Brazilian in just over a minute.
Carmouche got off to a fast start, walking down Joanne and connecting with a vicious knee to the body that sat Joanne down. Smelling blood in the water, the former Bellator champion unleashed a flurry of hammer fists that forced the referee to step in and call for the stoppage just past the one-minute mark of the opening round.

With the win, ‘Girl-Rilla’ picks up her 23rd career win in mixed martial arts and advances to the semi-final round of the PFL women’s flyweight tournament. In the next round, she’ll face the undefeated Elora Dana, who secured a first-round submission victory over Diana Avsaragova earlier in the evening.
