Surging grappling star, Paddy Pimblett has turned in the biggest victory of his Octagon tenure to date — rolling through former title challenger, Michael Chandler in a dominant display — en route to a stunning third round ground strikes TKO win in the pair’s UFC 314 co-headliner.
Pimblett, who records his seventh consecutive victory in the Octagon tonight since his 2020 debut, did so on the biggest stage he’s received in the promotion so far.
And riding out a stunningly impressive and dominant win, Pimblett showed a whole new wrinkle to his game throughout the three round pairing.
Out-striking the veteran former Bellator MMA kingpin for the entirety of the pairing, Paddy Pimblett swung the tide in his own favor in the final round.
Splitting open Chandler with a beautifully timed jumping knee in the third frame, Pimblett would stun and wobble Chandler before locking hands at the fence and taking him down.

Forcing referee, Kerry Hatley to call a stop to the action, Pimblett would smash Chandler on top from full mount, positioning himself for another massive fight next time around — welcoming a top-5 pairing in his next outing.
