Top UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett made an appearance on UFC announcer Bruce Buffer’s podcast, and reminisced on his battle against Michael Chandler at UFC 314. In a fight, Pimblett would dominate Michael Chandler and finish him in one-sided fashion. Pimblett would go on to make a bold claim that his performance against the former Bellator champion was more impressive than that of Chandler’s previous rivals.
“The fact that I got the beatdown I put on him, and the way I dominated him, and I finished him. I feel like I put a worse beating on him than Charles did, than Poirier did, than Justin Gaethje did. You know what I mean?
So,I have full confidence I was going to do that anyway, but the fact that I did do it, I think it shut a lot of people up.”
With his excellent performance, Paddy “The Baddie” Pimblett feels more vindicated than ever, as many fans and pundits have doubted his ability since his UFC debut.

Paddy Pimblett is starting to look like a true contender in the UFC.
Paddy Pimblett has been accused of being a hype job that would get exposed once he started to face the top of the lightweight division, and all he had was a bit of charisma, good grappling, and a unique look. Since his debut and the lows of his career, such as the controversial Jared Gordon Win. Paddy Pimblett has proven himself to be a true martial artist, showing off his gains in skill and fight IQ against a former world champion who fought the best in the division.
Now that we’ve seen Pimblett run through Chandler in a way no one else has, it’s time to start giving the UK star some respect.
