Mark Hulme vs Dominik Humburger is going down. Following Oktagon 70, Oktagon MMA drew the matchups for the next round of the Tipsport Gamechanger Middleweight Tournament. One of the matchups set is between TUF Veteran Hulme and Dominik Humburger. Humburger won with a 2nd round KO in Oktagon 70’s Main Event, now two of the Tournament’s Dark Horses will square off in June.

Mark hulme
At Oktagon 68, Hulme made his debut under the Oktagon MMA banner, where he submitted Andreas Michailidis in the first round. Hulme was referred to as a Dark Horse in this tournament, but now he finds himself as the tied favorite along with Matej Penaz. Hulme got to pick who he wanted to face when he walked up on stage. He said, “Humburger looked lonely, so I joined him.” The former EFC Champion will be fighting Dominik Humburger in June, the date is to be announced.
Dominik Humburger
Dominik Humburger brought it all in his Oktagon MMA debut. Thrust into the Main Event after Severino and Cartwright fell off the card, he certainly delivered. When Humburger faced Samuel Kristofic, it was an absolute war. The pair of Middleweights hit each other with everything they could, with Humburger coming out on top with a 2nd round KO. Humburger arrived at the draw with a visible cast on his hand, so a potential broken hand. Definitely something to keep an eye out for.
We all hope we get to see Hulme and Humburger, but until we know the extent of Dominik Humburger’s injury, whether it is just a scratch like he said in the Press Conference, or a significant injury, we can’t be sure.
