Darren Till, Liverpool’s own combat sports export, is making it clear he’s not short on ambition when it comes to his next moves in the ring. Fresh off his latest Misfits Boxing win, Till rattled off a wish list of opponents that reads like a who’s who of modern fight entertainment: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Mike Perry, Jorge Masvidal, Jake Paul, Tommy Fury, and Logan Paul.
Darren Till’s Wish List: Chavez Jr., Perry, Jorge Masvidal, Jake Paul, Tommy Fury, and Logan Paul Up Next
For those not keeping score at home, here’s the rundown: Darren Till made his name in the UFC, fighting for a world title and building a reputation for sharp striking and a bit of Scouse swagger. He’s now experienced as a professional boxer, having recently outpointed Darren Stewart in a lively Misfits Boxing main event. Misfits Boxing, for the uninitiated, is the brainchild of YouTuber KSI and the Sauerland brothers, specializing in crossover bouts that blend influencers, ex-MMA fighters, and pro boxers.

In his own words, speaking in an interview with Plejmo, Darren Till said:
“Let’s bring Misfits now to Liverpool. We haven’t brought it to Liverpool. Let’s do a main event. Let’s do a pay-per-view with a massive star from either America or England, preferably America. A Mike Perry or a Jorge Masvidal, get that done. Get the win in the bag again, have a little bit of time off, and then look towards a f* barnstormer at the end of the year, if it could be Chavez Jr.”
Next up on Till’s dream docket is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., a former world champion from Mexico with 54 wins and a knack for going the distance. His last outing saw him beat Uriah Hall by unanimous decision. Till’s also eyeing Mike Perry, the UFC veteran turned bare-knuckle brawler, known for his fearless approach and ability to take (and give) a punch. Then there’s Jorge Masvidal, another UFC staple famous for his record-setting five-second knockout and a recent pivot to boxing after retiring from MMA last year.

Of course, the Paul brothers, Jake and Logan, loom large over the crossover scene. Jake Paul, the American YouTuber-turned-boxer, has made a habit of calling out big names and has a fight with Chavez Jr. already on the books for June. Logan Paul, meanwhile, has dabbled in boxing exhibitions and WWE, always keeping one foot in the spotlight.
Darren Till’s pitch is simple: bring Misfits Boxing to Liverpool, headline with a big American name, and work through his hit list. He continued:
“Let’s say, fight at the end of the summer against Jorge Masvidal or Mike Perry. And then we set that up [against Chavez] at the end of the year. Then that’s me on their [MVP] promotion next year in late March against Jake Paul, then there’s maybe one or two fights there with Tommy or Logan Paul.

Darren Till’s callouts are as much about business as bravado. Whether Liverpool gets its main event and whether Till can run the gauntlet of ex-champions, YouTubers, and bare-knuckle bruisers remains to be seen. But if nothing else, the Scouser’s keeping things interesting.
